PennWest College Republicans Mourn the Loss of Charlie Kirk, Condemn Political Violence
Clarion, Pennsylvania, September 12, 2025—
Clarion, PA -September 12, 2025 –The PennWest College Republicans mourn the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk, a national leader whose vision and voice shaped the conservative youth movement in America. His untimely death following the horrific campus shooting is not only a devastating loss for his family and colleagues but also for an entire generation of young conservatives who looked to him for guidance and courage. Charlie Kirk dedicated his life to empowering students to speak boldly, challenge the status quo, and participate fully in the civic life of our country. His work inspired countless young people, including many within our own organization, to pursue leadership, defend their values, and carry forward the principles of liberty and opportunity. We condemn this act of violence in the strongest possible terms. Political violence has no place in our nation. Disagreement should never lead to death. The very freedoms that allow Americans to debate and advocate must be protected against hatred and violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie’s family, the Turning Point USA community, and every student who has been touched by his example. While his voice has been silenced, his legacy will continue to live on through the countless young leaders he inspired to rise with conviction and courage.
